CintaNotes is a note-taking app you can use to store different kinds of information like ideas, thoughts, quotes, lists, entries of a diary, and any text of your interest. It is particularly useful to jot down notes while you browse the web or read on your computer.

With CintaNotes you can create notes in three ways; one of them is using text-clipping, a function that lets you create notes while you're reading. With the app running in the background and using a hotkey, you can quickly convert any selected segment of text from the web or any other source into a note. This is especially useful when you come across an interesting piece of information and don't want to interrupt your reading to copy and paste the passage into a note manager. A note created this way will consist of a title, note content, and the link to the website it was copied from. You can also create notes manually or by pasting text from the clipboard into the app, and then tag your notes as well as insert URLs and links to files in your computer. The application supports text formatting, so it's possible to apply bold, italics, highlight, or create bulleted lists.

In order to keep your notes organized, CintaNotes uses 'sections', which are basically tabs to arrange or group notes according to certain criteria. You can use distinctive colors for each section and order them the way you find more convenient. To the right of the screen, there is the tag sidebar, a section that lets you browse through your notes to quickly find what you need. Another feature to highlight is the app's powerful search tool, which lets you look for notes using advanced search criteria.

There are other features that make CintaNotes a powerful note manager, like the possibility of creating backups of your databases and importing/exporting notes to .db, .txt, or .xml files. Options like changing the application's theme and playing with different combinations of colors are also included.

The application comes in two versions, a free and a paid one, the latter letting you work with more than notebook at a time and access your notes from any mobile device.
