CintaNotes can help you manage your notes. The application has a nice interface; yet, in my opinion, it needs more visual clues, such as buttons, to help the user perform the basic operations of creating a new note or notebook.
The applications lets you identify your notes with a title, tags, and remarks. Besides, it allows organizing them in various sections. Moreover, it allows querying for specific words within their contents. Unfortunately, it does not support using formatted text or linking media objects, such as images or sounds. In addition, you cannot use your notes as time reminders because, unlike other similar programs, this application does not support setting time alarms. Luckily, you can export your notebooks to various formats, including Unicode, XML and HTML; and of course, you can also copy and paste text via the clipboard.
CintaNotes has the advantage of being portable, small, and free. Besides, it allows synchronizing your notes on the Cloud via Simplenote, a paid service. Although it is true that it does not clutter your workspace with multiple notes, some users may find that the commonly used procedure of sticking notes onto the desktop is handier or more visually relevant.
