CintaNotes is a simple and practical note-taking application that allows you to capture any text you can copy into your clipboard and save it as a new note.
Although the program's user interface is intuitive and easy-to-use, its visual design is little attractive and could be widely improved. Basically, CintaNotes provides you with a customizable keyboard shortcut for you to save any selected text as a new note. However, this feature seems to work for Internet browsers only, such as Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. The program automatically sets the webpage's title as the note's title, the webpage's URL as the note's link, and the selected text as the note's main text. Anyway, you can also create new notes manually by typing or pasting the required information manually.
A very important plus for CintaNotes is, definitely, its tagging system. You can add several tags to a note, and then use the tag union, intersection and subtraction features to filter your notes. Besides, the program allows you to order your notes by creation or modification date, title, link, and size, either in ascending or descending orders. If you are looking for a specific note or group of notes, you just need to start typing a word or phrase in the search box provided and the program will automatically filter the notes list accordingly. Finally, you can keep your notes synchronized in two or more PCs – the program may use some popular online services (such as DropBox or Google Drive) for that purpose. You can even access your notes from mobile devices, though you will need to register the program at a cost of $25.00 to use this service.
Summing up, CintaNotes is a very simple program that allows you to create and keep notes in a very easy way. Unluckily, the program does not support capturing images or other media content to add to your notes, which is a common and helpful feature present in other note-taking applications.

Hierarchic tagging helps to build my knowledge base. Very quick and convenient search function and many more useful features.
